“I believe in kindness.
Also in mischief.
Also in singing,
especially when singing
is not necessarily prescribed.”

MYTH OF PERSEPHONE
MAY 21 5-7pm PST
In a Sacred Circle guided by trained Visionary and Storyteller, Author and Teacher Helga Conklin, we will explore the symbolism within the myth of Persephone. We’ll explore the Maiden*Mother*Crone and the duality of life & death aspects.
Honoring our Inner Child, we will play with dress up and creativity as we connect with our Sisters on this Earth Journey. Dress in Pomegranate Red, or adorn yourself with jewels and stones reminiscent of this illustrious seed, or twine a crown of thorns for winter or of flowers for spring. Bring a nibble of the fruit to partake in the balance Persephone brings to the life-death-life cycle.
Bring a journal to write in.
Space is limited. Please reserve your spot.

Exploring the connection between ancient stories (i.e. myths and fairy tales) and energy cycles in our bodies (e.g. chakras) will be the focus of this 7 session weekly series.
Stay tuned!
Following fairy tales from many cultures, we will explore honoring self care, respecting changing bodies, claiming self worth, listening intuitively, speaking truth. These pathways through life guide girls into being empowered women.
As a mother, I understand the need to connect with other women who are moms or who have wisdom to share. The need for joy, tears, and understanding are addressed through the nurturing of stories and all that gathering in feminine spirit can bring.
